Mike Evinger, owner of Evinger Construction, Inc., was part owner of Terra-Home Construction which was established in 1980. He built earth homes throughout Iowa and many parts of the U.S., Canada and even Australia, which included several major commercial projects in Colorado and Ohio.  He has been building green for nearly 30 years with quality & energy efficiency in mind, and it still is his #1 priority.

Evinger Construction, Inc. was established in 1997 to continue to provide affordable, energy efficient concrete homes by using Insulated Concrete Forms. We have become one of the largest professional builders of ICF foundations and complete homes in Iowa.

In 2002, Mike built his own  home out of ICFs to help show the unlimited capabilities and also experience the many benefits of owning an ICF home. This home was also built to show  people the numerous possibilities inside and out of what can be done.

Although the bulk of our business is doing foundations, complete home construction and commercial building is available using ICFs for your total project.
